Olakunle Churchill, the former husband of Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, was at the inauguration of the new head office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja on Tuesday.
And to make sure that the significance of his presence is not lost on people, especially his former wife, Churchill posted a picture of him shaking the EFCC chairman, Ibrahim Magu, on Instagram.
Tonto had claimed last week that Churchill’s bank accounts had been blocked because she reported him to the anti-graft agency.
Taking an obvious dig at the actress, Churchill wrote on the Instagram post that the fight against corruption has been intensified with the opening of the new EFCC office.
“The new EFCC headquarters in Abuja has one of the best state of the arts security facilities in Africa and am humbled to be one of the invited special guests who witnessed this historical ceremony.
“Indeed, ‘the fight against corruption is the duty of every citizen. If you see something, say something and EFCC will do something’. Obviously, no one can pull down a man with the GRACE of God,” he wrote in a message that has Tonto’s name written all over it.
The latest in the round of petty exchanges between the ex-couple started last week when a man accused Churchill of owing rent in Ghana.
Tonto responded by calling out her ex-husband and giving the complainant his number.
Churchill fired back that she should not get involved in his business, and that the only thing binding them together is the son which she allegedly prevents him from seeing.
