Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, and her estranged husband, Oladunni Churchill, have expressed different emotions as they prepare for the birthday of their son, Andre Omodayo Churchill, who turns one on Friday.
The father shared a picture of his son on his private Instagram page on Thursday, wishing the toddler a happy birthday in advance and praying for him.
“The moments that we shared are so precious to me. I hope we will have lots of them in the future as well! Daddy is still trying hard to get exclusive access to you but hopefully, very soon things will be okay,” Oladunni wrote.
Tonto, however, does not seem perturbed as she also put up a picture where she looked carefree and declared her excitement about the upcoming birthday.
The actress on Monday refuted claims that she denied her husband access to their son.
She stated that there were a lot of channels apart from hers that Oladunni could go through to see his son but that he had not used any.
They couple got married on August 29, 2015, in a private and traditional ceremony held at Tonto Dikeh’s family home in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Reports of crisis in the marriage started after Churchill was accused of infidelity.
Tonto fueled the speculation when she took off the title, ‘wife’ and her husband’s name from her Instagram profile.
She finally confirmed they were separated on Monday in response to a fan’s open letter.
