Entrepreneur and philanthropist, Tony Elumelu, has joined world leaders at the seventh edition of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) in Japan.
The conference, the largest in Japan, is being attended by presidents and business leaders and will last from August 28-30.
Mr Elumelu will share insights as a thought leader on African entrepreneurship.
Chief Executive Officer of Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), Ifeyinwa Ugo, will also speak at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)-sponsored side event themed “Unlocking innovative solutions for the SDGs”.
She will join representatives of UNDP and several Japanese private sector leaders on the sidelines of the event.
President Muhammadu Buhari is also attending the event.
