Philanthropist and billionaire businessman, Tony Elumelu, has been named in the 2020 Ebony Power 100 trailblazers’ list.
US-based Ebony Magazine published its 2020 Power 100 List on Wednesday.
Also named alongside Elumelu on the trailblazers’ list is Mary Winston, President of WinsCo Enterprises Inc; Michael Kyser, President of Black Music for the Atlantic Records Group; Louis Carr, President of Media Sales, BET Networks; Bishop Wayne T. Jackson, The Impact Network; among others.
Elumelu was named in recognition of his influence, accomplishments and philanthropy.
The annual Ebony Power 100 List recognises individuals who have had a positive impact on the African-American community.
The 2020 list captures individuals in the following categories: Community Crusaders, Doing It For The Culture, Power Couples, Excellence In Media, Social Justice, Shining Stars, Titans of Industry, Trailblazers, Women Up and MVPs.
Boxing champion, Deontay Wilder, and tennis champion, Coco Gauff, are on the MVPs list.
