Businessman Tony Elumelu on Thursday shared a video on social media of his 24 hours in Cameroon for the 2021 AFCON final on February 6.
The video shows Mr Elumelu’s arrival at the airport and his reception by ex-international and current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o.
A refreshed Elumelu dressed formally then heads to the State House on a courtesy visit where he meets the secretary-general at the Presidency of Cameroon, Ferdinand Ngoh.
The video also shows him posing for photos with board members of UBA Cameroon.
The UBA chairman also met Cameroon President Paul Biya and joined spectators at the newly built 60,000 seater Olembe Stadium in Yaoundé for the AFCON 2021 final.
“A wrap-up of my 24hours in Cameroon,” Elumelu captioned his post on Instagram.
He also congratulated Senegal on winning the AFCON title for the first time in their history.
“Anything can be achieved with hard work, resilience and consistency,” the philanthropist added.
Senegal defeated Egypt 4-2 on penalties after extra time following a goalless draw.
