Oge Elumelu, daughter of the chairman of UBA Group Tony Elumelu, has begun academic activities at the London School of Economics.
In his Instagram post on Monday, Mr Elumelu said he and wife Awele were proud of Oge and how she had become a good role model for her six siblings.
He wrote: “My dearest Oge is off to @LondonSchoolofEconomics today for university. Gigi, you continue to make your mother and I so happy and so proud with your brilliance, kindness, discipline and standout humility.
“We could not have asked for a better, more inspiring role model for your younger siblings. What an exceptional young lady you already are. We love you very dearly and will always be right beside you to cheer you on!”
Oge paid her a father a visit at the UBA House, Marina, Lagos in August 2019 during her summer break.
Elumelu wrote on Instagram that she likes to spend time with him whenever she is in town.
