Former Rivers State governorship candidate Tonye Cole has concluded plans to return to school for further studies.
Mr Cole revealed in a tweet on Friday that he was going for further studies at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, Plateau State.
He said: “What does going to school mean to a Nigerian without Ghana-must-go? It is an essential on Campus survival kit even for adult education like mine. Almost set for NIPSS. The journey begins [19.02.2021].”
Cole did not give details of the study he will be undertaking at the institute.
Founded in 1979, the NIPSS is a policy formation centre for bureaucrats, private sector leaders, army officers, and medium-rank and senior civil servants, which was.
Notable graduates of the NIPSS are Maj.-Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (retd), pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Nuhu Ribadu among others.
