Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham says she cried reading a complimentary post by senior colleague Nse Ikpe-Etim in an Instagram post.
Nse on Wednesday, April 14 showered encomium on her woman crush Toyin, describing the 38-year-old as tenacious and determined.
“Toyin, I can speak about so many actors I have come to love because of many reasons. Some I love because it’s the right thing to do. But I rarely speak about how tenacious YOU are and to be honest you do it effortlessly. The sheer determination shows the audacity of your belief. Keep soaring and inspiring,” Nse wrote.
Taking to the comment section of the post, Toyin said “Haaaaa Aunty Nse ti pa mi. This is big to me. I don’t know what to write. Thanks a lot ma’am and I love, respect and adore you so muchhhhhh. I love you Aunty.”
Not done, the Alakada actress reposted Nse’s post on her Instagram page, adding that the latter’s words made her cry.
“Aunty Nse, I cried yes, I cried intact. I’m still crying. I love you so much sis. I don’t even know what to write. I love, adore, cherish, respect and love you again and again,” Toyin wrote.
She ended the post by calling on her fans to follow Nse on Instagram and say thanks to her.
Toyin Abraham is one of the female personalities recently honoured with the Eko Star Film & TV Awards organised by Mo Abudu and the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.
The award, according to the organisers, is in recognition of women’s contributions to the development of the country’s film and creative industry initially dominated by their male counterparts.
