Actress Toyin Abraham has clapped back at some netizens demanding that she divulges the plans President Bola Tinubu has for Nigeria which made her campaign for him.
Prior to the 2023 general elections, Toyin said Tinubu shared his thoughts, goals, and tactics for addressing the country’s challenges.
“For the first time, I met the incoming president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and he shared some of his Ideas, visions and strategy to solve the challenges before us, as a nation. Listening to him indeed renewed my hope and reaffirmed why he is my choice,” She wrote at that time on social media.
Following the hardship in the country since Tinubu was sworn in over a year ago, some X users reached out to the actress in the earlier hours of Monday, June 4 to inquire about the president’s plans.
One X user named Revolutionary wrote, “You share that idea wey Tinubu discuss with you else your life will continue to crumble…since you people like to keep messing with the futures of Nigerians just because you can travel to London.”
Another X user named Thrax wrote, “Toyin Abraham, what are the ideas BAT shared with you?”
A comment that triggered her response was when a netizen cursed her son.
Toyin replied, “Delete it haaaa haaaa delete it and curse me alone, noooo don’t do that o haaa curse my son, curse me anything say I will die, you shouldn’t have put my son haaaa mi oni gba o. Olorun Oba ngbo I will not forgive you.”
She added, “It’s too much, cursing my son and family.”
Toyin said she had learnt her lesson not to be open about her choice for a political position.
The Elevator Baby actress also replied one of the netizens who politely asked about the plans Tinubu shared with her.
She wrote, “You asked me in a polite way so I will definitely answer you. Of course, I was told n promised good governance n happiness for everyone and which I believe. If things didn’t go well why do I have to be the one to suffer for it because I remember I voted Jonathan and I was bullied but I didn’t put blame on anyone after everyone choose Buhari. So please why would they be cursing and trolling me everytime?”
