Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo sympathise with Mercy Aigbe, Kazim Adeoti over fire incident

Actresses Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, and several others have expressed their condolences to Mercy Aigbe and her husband, Kazim Adeoti after their home was damaged in a fire.

Mercy shared the aftermath of the incident on Instagram on Wednesday, posting a video of the charred property.

In the caption, she expressed her emotional distress writing, “Devastated! Thank God no life was lost! It is well.”

The post drew an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues, who flooded the comment section with prayers and words of encouragement.

Toyin Abraham recounted how deeply Mercy was affected writing, “Jesus 😢😢 Olorun, no wonder you were crying on phone. I’m so sorry, sis.”

Actor Timini Egbuson commented, “Omg! So sorry for this loss. We thank God regardless and pray for 100-fold replenishment.”

Actress Blessing Obasi added, “Oh Lord!!! So sorry. Thank God for life, and indeed He will restore a millionfold.”

Ronke Odusanya also sympathised writing, “Haaaa! Oluwa. So sorry dear.”

Iyabo Ojo shared a message on Thursday, posting a photo of the couple on Instagram.

She wrote, “My dear friend @realmercyaigbe & my humble brother @kazimadeoti, I’m deeply sorry to hear about the devastating loss of your home. My heart goes out to you both during this challenging time.

“Please know that God is with you, and He will help you rebuild and create something even more beautiful. This loss is not the end but a new beginning.

“I’m grateful that no lives were lost, and with that, there’s hope for a brighter future. Stay strong, my dear friends, and know that I’m here for you. Sending you love, sympathy, and support during this difficult time.”

Other celebrities including Adeniyi Johnson, Bimpe Akintunde, and Biola Adebayo also sent their condolences.
