Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has nominated former Jenifa’s Diary star Juliana Olayode for the ongoing women’s challenge on Instagram.
Popularly known as Toyo Baby, Juliana accepted the challenge and advocated, like many others, for women to support one another.
“#challengeaccepted thank you for nominating me aunty @toyin_abraham 🤗 Every woman is SPECIAL and BEAUTIFUL in their own way. We should love and celebrate each other the best way we can always!!!” she told her 2.3 million Instagram followers.
Toyin Abraham herself was nominated by fellow actress Uche Jombo.
“The odds are already stark against women, every woman out there deserves support from all gender especially that of the female gender. If you pull a woman down you pull a nation down,” Toyin had written.
Other female celebrities who have joined in the challenge are Funke Akindele, Genevieve Nnaji, Bukky Wright, Ini Edo, Tiwa Savage among others.
A sexual purity activist, Juliana has been spending energy lately driving traffic to her YouTube channel over matters concerning sexual relationship.
The Lagos-born actress gained popularity after featuring as Toyosi in Funke Akindele’s comedy series Jenifa’s Diary.
She fell out with Funke in 2017 after she demanded an increase in her fee which was said to be three thousand naira per episode back then.
That led to her exit from the show and a strained relationship with Funke.
Juliana will remain Toyo Baby to millions of her fans and followers despite playing other characters in movies.
