Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has recounted how singer Davido helped her when she started her career by being there whenever she needed him.
The Alakada star made this known in an Instagram post on Thursday after fans criticised her for promoting the singer’s O2 concert in London.
“These people don’t know that David was there for me when I needed him. He didn’t think of me as being grassroot when he decided to help me, and now the world needs to know that one good turn deserves another.
“He’s international now but still relates with the grassroots, and this would continue to pave way for him because we recognize real people and David is one,” she wrote.
Toyin recently appreciated the deputy governor of Osun State Benedict Alabi after the latter gave positive reviews about her new movie The Ghost and the Tout too.
She also shared photos from her visit to the Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
