Actress Toyin Adegbola popularly known as Toyin Tomato on Saturday caused a scene at the Shoprite in Ring Road, Ibadan, after her daughter was accused of shoplifting.
In a video posted on Instagram, the actress is seen pacing around the mall while questioning the security men.
Toyin, who claimed she left her hospital bed over the matter demanded to see the CCTV footage as well as an explanation of how the alleged theft happened.
She also threatened to sue the retailer for the molestation of her daughter.
The actress could be heard saying, “Everybody this is Shoprite Ibadan mall whatever, Ring Road and I’m here to cause trouble with them. I’ll not leave here until I’m being arrested. I am here to cause trouble. Tunji you were here when they were molesting my child, my daughter here, she’s a married woman why would somebody do that to me? I will not tolerate it.”
In the comment section of her post, the 59-year-old said the security officer had pleaded with her and the management promised to look into the matter.
“They later brought the illiterates to come and beg, while branch manager promised to take up the matter with their ogas,” she wrote.
