Actress Toyin Adegbola has danced with veteran actor Peter Fatomilola at the latter’s 55 years on stage celebration.
The actress, popularly known as Toyin Tomato, posted a video of herself and Peter on Instagram dancing together.
In the video, the excited celebrant who was dressed in a white agbada is seen showing off his dance movies.
Captioning the post on Monday, she wrote: “I was there during the celebration of The Wizard of Ife @peterfatomilola 55th years on stage at the Oduduwa Hall, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. On the 22nd of October 2022. Thank you for the award sir.”
Peter Fatomilola was also gifted an art portrait by a young artist named Morenikeji Joshua.
The 76-year-old was born in Ifisin-Ekiti in the Ido-Osi Local Government area of Ekiti State. In 1967, he joined the Olokun Theatre group under the tutelage of the late Professor Ola Rotimi, a renowned playwright at the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University. He is also a member of the academic staff of Obafemi Awolowo University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts in 1978.
Known for his priestly roles, Peter has been featured in movies and TV shows like Sango, Sawaroide, Rise of the Saints, King Invincible, Super Story and Papa Ajasco.
