Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu, who recently separated from her husband, Adeniyi Johnson on Thursday confirmed that she is in a relationship with Ebony Films boss, Seun Egbegbe.
A fan of the Alakada star had inquired on social media, “But I hear say you date Seun Egbegbe” to which Toyin replied “Yes Yess Yesssss.”
Toyin had in the past denied being in a relationship with Egbegbe and even accused bloggers of falsifying news reports.
“First it was the story of me getting a thorough beating from Seun and now they said I am planning to marry him. I have said it times without number that I’m not dating Seun and I have never been beaten to a pulp by any man. Seun is my friend. You can only marry someone you are dating. And I don’t think I have time for any relationship now,” she said at the time.
The public got whiff of a the rift between Toyin and her husband in October 2015 after the actress deleted all their wedding pictures and changed her handle to her maiden name on Instagram.
Adeniyi later admitted that his wife caught him flirting and requested that people beg her on his behalf.
Unfortunately, all the pleading from fans was to no avail. Now, it is certain that the couple are indeed separated and might not be getting back together again.
Aimakhu and Johnson who got married in 2013 first separated for a while in January 2015.
