Tade Ojora, one of the nephews of wife of former Senate President Toyin Saraki, has been selected to complete at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Mrs Saraki disclosed this on Sunday in an Instagram post, congratulating her nephew.

“Congratulations to my amazing nephew Tade Ojora on being selected to complete in the Paris 2024 Olympics!” She said.

Mrs Saraki’s brother Adeyinka Ojora earlier announced the news on Instagram.

He wrote, “It’s official guys Tade will be an Olympian, it’s been an incredible journey since our 8yr old looked at us and told us that one day he would be in the Olympics.

“I have no words to capture how proud of Tade and grateful to God we feel right now, but I can praise the Lord we serve for HE is always faithful. See you in Paris 24.”

The international multi-sport event is scheduled to take place from July 26 (the date of the opening ceremony) to August 11, 2024 in France, with some competitions starting on July 24.

Paris is the main host city, with events held at 16 other cities spread across Metropolitan France, plus one subsite in Tahiti—an island within the French overseas country and overseas collectivity of French Polynesia.
