A Nigerian lady simply known as Chioma has been feared to have lost an employment opportunity after blocking a representative of her employer on WhatsApp.

Twitter users have been reacting since the news broke on Monday.

According to screenshots of their conversation being shared on Twitter, the representative known as Benson from Alpha Consulting reached out to Chioma on WhatsApp.

“I was asked to make contact with you through WhatsApp ma,” Benson wrote.

Chioma replied: “Who? I’m blocking you right now.”

The applicant blocked him before he got the chance to explain he was a representative of the company where she had applied and passed an interview.

Twitter users have been voicing their opinions on the matter.

All of you putting all your energy to attack Benson from Alpha Consulting and leaving Chioma out of this need to get your brain checked.
