Davido’s associate Isreal DMW has revealed that singer Trevboi, who was named in the fatal shooting of an individual in the Fadeyi area of Lagos State, was never Davido‘s signee.
Trevboi is alleged to have shot and killed an individual identified as Kenny at Bar 38 nightclub.
Taking to Instagram Story on Monday, Isreal DMW clarified his boss’s affiliation with Trevboi whom the police said is currently on the run.
Isreal explained that Trevboi was simply someone Davido once supported voluntarily by collaborating with him on a song.
“Trev was never Oga’s signee. He was just somebody whom Oga assisted freely, by, jumping into his song. Oga even paid everything for his video shoot. Oga long parted ways with him when he even had the guts to insult Oga, as a payback for all his kindness,” he wrote.

Lagos State Police Command on Monday commenced investigation into the alleged killing.
A friend of the deceased with the Twitter username Cloud Target accused Trevboi of killing Kenny.
Reacting to the development, Lagos police spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin said investigation into the incident had commenced. He added that the suspect abandoned his car and fled on foot.
