The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja has reserved judgement on the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory during the 2019 elections.
Justice Mohammed Garba, leading a five-man panel, ruled on Wednesday, after listening to the final arguments of the parties to the case.
Garba said the date for judgement would be communicated to the parties through their lawyers.

The petitioners’ counsel, Livy Uzoukwu, during Wednesday’s hearing, prayed the court to uphold their case by either declaring them the winner of the election or order a fresh one.
The respondents, however, urged the court to dismiss the petition for lacking in merit.
