Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong appeared to have been inspired by the presence of his family when Udinese hosted Calgliari in Serie A on Saturday.
The 25-year-old was watched by his Dutch mum and two siblings in his club’s final league match.
Troost-Ekong was spectacular as the hosts ran out 2-0 winners.
Ignacio Pussetto and Valon Behrami did the damage but it was the ex-Tottenham defender that earned all the plaudits.
The Nigerian racked up a game rating of 7.4, making 4 clearances and completed 100% of his tackles.
He also completed 76% of his passes, won 4 duels and 4 interceptions.
The win now puts Udinese on 13th position with 18 points from 19 games.
Troost-Ekong took to Twitter after the game to share photos of his family and teammates.
