Founder of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has hosted Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, in Lagos to mark his 60th birthday.
Also present at the closely-guarded gathering was Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State.
“Pastor Tunde Bakare is hosting Malam Nasir @elrufai to a Lagos version of his 60th birthday and presentation of his latest book, These Times,” a tweet on Saturday by Kaduna government read.
El-Rufai and Bakare also led a team to visit the deposed emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi, who arrived Lagos on Friday night after securing his release from confinement in Awe, Nasarawa.
El-Rufai had in February hosted dignitaries in Kaduna to an event to mark his 60th birthday.
At the event, he also launched two volumes of his book: These Times: Selected Speeches by Nasir El-Rufai.
