Jose Mourinho has received stern criticism from Premier League fans following his post-match rant against Tottenham on Monday.
The Portuguese tactician hit out at the media following a disappointing 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford.
“I won more Premierships alone than the other 19 managers together,” Mourinho said. “Three for me and two for them.
“Respect, respect, respect man.”
Harry Kane’s header and two goals from Lucas Moura at Old Trafford maintained Tottenham’s 100% start to the season and lifted them to second in the table.
Mourinho’s theatrics didn’t go down well with the football fraternity.
Here’s what they had to say on Twitter.

Jose Mourinho claimed he was still the best manager in the Premier League after his team were humbled 3-0 by Tottenham at Old Trafford.

I’m going to go into work and start off with “I made three Excel sheets yesterday, more than all the other people in the team”
And then walk out of work yelling ” respect respect respect”
Fucking Jose.#Mourinho #MUFC #RespectGate

José Mourinho: “From a strategic point of view we didn’t lose, the tactical point of view we didn’t lose, but we lost.” – me say Rubbish.

So glad Jose #Mourinho is no longer managing at @ChelseaFC. This man has become deeply cynical and jaded. No way a team can play to their potential when their manager is so self-absorbed and negative. I think he’s gone before the next transfer window. https://t.co/bXD129sSVg
