Unknown gunmen have kidnapped two Chinese expatriates in Ishiagu, Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
They are said to be working for a mining company in the town which has the largest deposit of solid minerals in the state.
Ebonyi police commissioner, Awosola Awotinde, has confirmed the incident.
Awotinde expressed hope of possible rescue of the two Chinese workers as soon as possible, adding that the command was on the trail of the kidnappers
