Two persons have been feared dead following an accident involving the convoy of Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday while the governor was heading to Maiduguri, TheCable quoted a police source as saying.
A district head of Borno in Lagos Mai-Kanuribe and one other passenger are feared dead after their vehicle reportedly somersaulted.
The injured have been taken to a hospital, it was gathered.
Zulum was returning from Mafa Local Government Area where he went for the membership revalidation exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC) when the accident occurred.
The governor’s convoy last witnessed tragedies about four months ago.
