Police in Osun State have confirmed the release of the two Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officers, kidnapped in the state on Sunday by gunmen.
Spokesperson for the Command, Folashade Odoro, confirmed their release on Wednesday.
She, however, did not give details on how they were released.
“I can confirm to you that the two abducted persons have been released by their abductors,” she said.
The kidnappers on Tuesday morning demanded N1 million ransom.
It is unclear if the ransom was paid for their release on Tuesday night.
