Tyler Fray Foundation in partnership with Ten Strings Music School has launched a music scholarship aimed at nurturing young Nigerian talents.

This was revealed in a statement released on Saturday.

The initiative aims to support aspiring musicians in pursuing their dreams and building careers in the music industry.

The scholarship is open to Nigerian residents aged 16 to 25 who demonstrate a strong passion for music, shows a clear financial need and a commitment to completing the programme.

“Applicants must submit an online form along with video and audio files showcasing their talent by December 4, 2024, via the foundation’s website.

“This scholarship is a chance for aspiring musicians to follow their passion and unlock their full potential,” the statement read.

The initiative honours the legacy of Oloruntoba Falode known as Tyler Fray a budding music artiste and producer who died tragically in 2014 at age 19.

Fray, son of sports broadcaster Aisha Falode was studying music in Dubai when he fell from a high-rise building.
