Babayemi, who relocated to the US last year, met with the group at a show in Dallas, Texas, where he now lives.

A prince from Gbongan in Osun State, Babayemi was one of the eight young men who formed UB40 in December 1978 in Birmingham, England.
He left the group in 1979 before they became a hit on the order of his father who insisted his son should not associate with a bunch of “undesirables”.
