The United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has congratulated its brand ambassador Wizkid on his first Grammy award on Sunday night.
Wizkid won the Best Music Video for his song with Beyoncé, ‘Brown Skin Girl’, from Lion King: The Gift album.
Congratulating the singer on Monday, UBA wrote on Instagram: “Self preservation, Self elevation. Go for the big leagues 💯💯 – Wizkid.
“Congratulations to our very own #GRAMMY award winner @wizkidayo. Well done Machala.”
Similarly, the CEO of UBA Foundation and group director, corporate communications at UBA Plc, Bola Atta, congratulated Wizkid on Instagram.
She said: “Congratulations @wizkidayo on your Grammy win. So well deserved! Proud #mummywiz.”
Atta recently received Wizkid at the UBA House in Lagos.
Also known as Star Boy, Wizkid was named UBA brand ambassador in 2019.
