Group managing director/chief executive officer of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc Oliver Alawuba has hung out with former group managing directors of the bank Tony Elumelu and Kennedy Uzoka.
On Friday, Mr Elumelu shared on Instagram photos of all three of them together at a birthday celebration.
Dressed casually, the trio posed before the camera for photos.
“3 Generations of UBA GMDs,” Elumelu, now UBA chairman, wrote, “TOE – 2005 to 2010 KU – 2016 to 2022 Oliver – 2022 to Present.”
Mr Uzoka was GMD from 2016 to 2022 before handing over to Mr Alawuba. Elumelu, on the other hand, was UBA GMD from 2005 to 2010.
The post has attracted praise from social media users who applauded UBA’s succession plan.
