Music executive, Ubi Franklin, has retracted his claim to have earned N10 billion between 2012 and 2019.
The 33-year-old made the claim in a televised interview with Business Day.
However, in an Instagram post on Wednesday, he has since changed his stance, saying he did not make that amount but transacted deals worth that amount.
“Watch my full interview with @businessdayng And learn. And yes in the last 8 years in all sectors we have transacted such amount and I did not say 10bn was profit. And if you doubt this, I can’t argue with you at all lol,” he wrote.
In a series of posts on InstaStories on Sunday, Ubi Franklin, had warned that he knows those who pay for false stories to be written about him.
In one of the posts, he thanked pop musician, Davido, for denying a report that he had duped the singer and his girlfriend, Chioma Rowland.
The root of the false report originated from when Chioma had threatened to sue an unidentified person in a post on InstaStories.
