Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her debut in the Nigerian movie industry.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the 39-year-old expressed gratitude for her journey from an up and coming actress to a celebrated movie star.
She recalled that it all started with the movie, Visa to Hell.
“What a journey it’s been,” she declared.
The mother of one thanked “everyone who gave me a chance, worked with me, partnered with me on projects and most importantly YOU…My true ujlovers”
Since making her debut in 1999, Uche has appeared in over 300 films and produced over 30 movies, as well as directing six.
Born in Abiriba, Abia State, Uche is a graduate of
mathematics and statistics from the University of Calabar and computer programming
from the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
