Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has reacted to a video of former chairman of the defunct Pension Reformed Taskforce Team Abdulrasheed Maina fainting in court.
Maina collapsed in court while facing N2billion money laundering charge on Thursday.
He collapsed as his lawyer Anayo Adibe was briefing Justice Okon Abang that the defence team had yet to receive the records of proceedings requested from the court’s registry.
Uche in a tweet said it is the same script the politicians use all the time.
“The same script every time,” she wrote.
Uche’s statement stems from politicians such as Dino Melaye, Olisa Metuh, Kemebradikumo Pondei and Bello Mohammed fainting when brought to court.
Maina had before jumping bail appeared in court in a wheelchair with claims of failing health.
He was being prosecuted by the EFCC over alleged N2 billion pension fund fraud, money laundering, and operating fictitious bank accounts among others.
