Actress Uche Ogbodo has recalled h the loss of her colleagues Ernest Asuzu and Geraldine Ekocha who died in January 2021 and September 2011 respectively.
Uche shared a throwback movie scene of herself and the late movie stars on Instagram on Saturday.
“In this life we have to be careful, live with purpose because no one knows what time his or her time will be up. Life is just a pot of beans.. continue to Rest in Peace Mama Geraldine Ekeocha and Ernest Azuzu,” she wrote.
Ernest Asuzu, 37, died on January 6, 2021.
His wife, Jennifer Asuzu confirmed the news of his death to the media.
Jennifer said the actor slumped that Tuesday evening and never woke up.
The actor came down with a stroke in 2015 which affected his speech. He was also bedridden for three years. This affected his acting career and he was off the screen for many years.
Geraldine Ekeocha died on Sunday, September 4, 2011, at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital Enugu.
She was diagnosed with cancer of the liver.
