Actress Ufuoma McDermott has declared her support for her colleague Iyabo Ojo amid a 500 million naira lawsuit threat by singer Naira Marley.
Iyabo made a series of accusations against the Marlian boss after his former signee Mohbad died under controversial circumstances on September 12. She claimed Naira Marley bullied Mohabad and tried introducing her children to drugs.
Reacting in a letter dated December 12, Naira Marley, through his lawyers, accused Iyabo of making libellous posts about him and demanded a public apology within seven days and 500 million naira or she would be dragged to court.
On Saturday, Ufuoma penned down a lovely message to Iyabo on Instagram to support and encourage the actress.
She applauded Iyabo for being a voice of reason and fighting for others. She also said Iyabo will always have at utmost respect.
