Nollywood actress, Ufuoma McDermott, has joked that she might run for president since a lot of entertainers are getting involved in politics.
The 39-year-old made the joke on Monday when she shared a picture of herself in a blue striped shirt and oversized sunglasses on Instagram.
“I’m here to state my interest in running for President! Yes you heard me: president. Entertainers are doing it all over the world so don’t come here and preach anything to me. Just face your front and go! Wait! Don’t go yet… I just need your opinion if I can use this picture for my declaration posters…,” she wrote.
Ufuoma was probably inspired by American rapper, Kanye West, who announced on Saturday that he is running for President of the United States of America.
And the current President, Donald Trump, who is a former reality TV star.
