A UK-based Nigerian student, known simply as Bolu, has made a class presentation calling for a ban on local dish, amala.
In a tweet on Thursday, Bolu share an image of his presentation.
In the image, Bolu is seen standing by a projector screen which reads “Why Amala needs to be banned.”
He captioned the image posted on Twitter “Speaking my truth”.
Bolu added that he chose to research on the topic because he was passionate about it.
“The class was Presentation Skills for successful graduates, I dug deep and used a topic that I was passionate about,” he wrote.
His tweets did not come without backlash from lovers of Amala.
