No fewer than 20 love guests of the Ultimate Love reality TV show were on Sunday paired with their nicknames revealed.
While Aunty paired some of the couples herself following her talk with them earlier in the week, the others found their way to each other in order to avoid possible eviction which is known as ‘checkout’ on the show.
The ten couples and their nicknames are:
1. BolAr
Bola and Arnold were the first couple revealed on the live show and fans could not hide their joy. The couple also seemed happy with the news and came up with the nickname #BolAr.
2. JayKech
Nkechi and Jay are another couple who seemed thrilled with Aunty’s decision to pair them. The two love guests revealed their new nickname as #JayKech.
3. MiCherry
Michael and Cherry have been quite affectionate with each other for some time now and seemed happy with the decision to pair them. They chose #MiCherry as their nickname.
4. ObiEbi
Obichukwu and Ebiteinye were also paired together and seemed happy with the news. They held hands till the end of the live show and decided to go with #ObiEbi.
5. IykeResa
Iyke and Theresa seemed to hit it off right away and have been inseparable for the past few days. However, Theresa told Iyke that Kachi has his eyes on her. She added that Kachi boldly told her that he was into her. The two chose #IykeResa as their new nickname.
6. PreshDavid
The relationship between David Wilson and Phresh Talker might be a tough one because David is torn between Phresh Talker and Rosie. It seemed like Rosie was developing feelings for David who was happy to be paired with Phresh Talker. Though Phresh Talker did not seem particularly enthusiastic about the pairing, she went ahead with it. They chose #PhreshDavid.
7. Jelo
Jenny Koko and Louis are one couple who enjoy the support of the fans. The couple seemed happy to be paired with each other and came up with the name #Jelo.
8. Roksie
Rosie appeared unhappy when David was paired with Phresh Talker and could not hide her displeasure. She, however, decided to forge ahead by pairing with Kachi and they came up with the name #Roksie.
9. ChrisUch
For many, Chris and Uche are the most unenthusiastic of the ten pairings. The two do not stand each other and make no effort to hide it. In spite of their differences, they had to pair up or risk possible eviction.
They started things off with a disagreement after failing to agree on which couple to be put up for eviction. They will, however, be known as #ChrisUch going forward.
10. JerVia
Jerry and Silvia were among the new love guests who joined the show on February 14. It initially does not seem like they are into each other. Viewers also do not appear optimistic about the pairing. They, however, came up with the nickname #JerVia.
