Businessman and lawyer Wale Babalakin on Thursday appeared before the Prof. Tukur Sa’ad-led visitation panel at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The panel was set up by the Federal Government to look into the affairs of the institution from 2017 till date.
The UNILAG branch of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will also appear before the panel later in the day.
Babalakin was the chairman of the UNILAG governing council until he was asked to step aside to allow probe after the university was thrown into crisis over the controversial removal of Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe as vice-chancellor.
It was gathered that Ogundipe appeared before the panel on Monday.
