Governor of the US state of Georgia, Brian Kemp, has hosted a chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo.
The governor and his wife, Marty, hosted MC Oluomo and his son, Olalade Akinsanya, according to an Instagram post on Tuesday by the NURTW boss.
MC Oluomo’s son recently graduated from Clayton County Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
“Honorary invitation too (sic) me and my lovely son Ololade by the executive governor of Atlanta Georgia USA Brain Kemp and his Marty Kemp,” Oluomo wrote.
The transport union leader graced the invite in a dark blue suit with his son in a black suit.
Although he did not state the reason for the invite, it is thought to be connected with his son’s performance at the art school.
On his son’s graduation early June, MC Oluomo said he was a proud father and that he was proud of his son’s achievement.
“You made me and your mother proud and you will continue making us proud in sha Allah,” he said about his son.
MC Oluomo returned to Nigeria late January after he travelled to the US for medical treatment following an attack on him at an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Ikeja on January 8 where he was stabbed in the neck and stomach.
