Comedian Justice Nuagbe, popularly known as Ushbebe, has expressed concern over the relationship between music legend Innocent Idibia, aka 2Baba and his fiancée, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.

In a video circulating on social media on Friday, Ushbebe questioned the nature of their closeness, describing 2Baba’s recent behavior around Natasha as unsettling and uncharacteristic of his status.

The 43-year-old likened the singer’s actions to that of a schoolboy, suggesting that the relationship dynamic appeared awkward and overly submissive.

“I like minding my business but on this particular issue, I have to speak up. Which one be all these rubbish na? Which one be all these see finish na? You go dey hold legend’s hand, dey carry am waka like person wey you wan go drop for school. Let’s just call for prayers for legend o!” he said.

“Dem go hold legend’s hand dey carry am waka like tata wey dem wan go drop for school. Legend supposed be legend o, 2Face free yourself. Emancipate yourself o! I like keep quiet before but [dis one] go hard me,” he added.

Ushbebe’s comments come amid ongoing public discourse surrounding 2Baba’s relationship with Natasha Osawaru, who is not only a lawmaker but also the granddaughter of Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom.

The relationship between 2Baba and Natasha became public following his separation from his wife of 12 years, Annie Idibia.

On February 13, 2025, a video surfaced showing 2Baba proposing to Natasha, which he confirmed in subsequent statements expressing his desire to marry her.

As of the time of filing this report, neither 2Baba nor Natasha has responded to Ushbebe’s comments.
