Big Brother Africa winner and actor, Uti Nwachukwu, has taken two contrasting positions over a fight between 2019 Big Brother Naija housemates, Tacha and Mercy.
Tacha pulled Mercy’s hair during a tense face-off in the house on Friday.

The fight started when Big Brother sent a scroll into the house to be read and Mercy delayed reading the message.
Reacting to the delay, Tacha snidely told Mercy to “sleep there” leading Mercy to refer to Tacha as a stupid girl.
The duo soon got locked in an argument that got physical and culminated in the pulling of hair by Tacha.
In his first reaction on Twitter, Uti questioned why Tacha had not been disqualified for the act.
“But wait o!! Wasnt Mercy’s Hair pulled ??? Why hasn’t the other #Bbnaija Housemate been disqualified for getting physical🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️” he said.
In another tweet, the 37-year-old said the ladies should only be given strikes for the fight.
“In fact #Bbnaija should not disqualify anyone so that hateful people can witness Lambo winning Live and know that it’s not by fighting everyone upandan. #Bbnaija2019 please forgive them. Just give strike so we proceed to vote,” Uti said.

Big Brother had on September 15 cleared all housemates of strikes and introduced a new veto power of chance twist.
Prior to that, Mercy had one strike while Ike and Tacha were on the verge of exiting the show with two strikes each.
Strikes are issued to housemates who violate house rules.
