Media personality has petitioned the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammadu Adamu, to investigate the claim made by a woman identified as Kambili Korie, that he raped her in 2017.
Korie had on Thursday claimed that that the 37-year-old Big Brother Africa winner had raped her in August 2017.
Uti denied the allegation in a post he shared on social media on Thursday and urged his accuser to report the crime within three days or face legal action.
He has now stated that he will surrender himself to the police to assist in the investigation called on the IGP to prosecute Korie for cybercrime if her allegation is found to be false.
The actor, who submitted his petition through his lawyers, Johnmary C. Jideobi and Co., at the IGP’s office in Abuja on Friday, is denying the allegation on the ground that he was away in Houston Texas, United States of America on August 5, 2017, the date of the alleged incident.
