Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State for the March 9 election, Hope Uzodinma, has denied felicitating with the governor-elect, Emeka Ihedioha.

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, a suspended member of the APC, had worked against Uzodinma during the governorship election, preferring to support his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, who joined another party, Action Alliance (AA), after failing to secure the ticket on the APC platform.
However, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja, Uzodinma said the video was recorded at a different occasion long before the election.
He called on his supporters to disregard the report, saying it was the handiwork of mischief makers who are bent on peddling lies against him.
