Celebrity stylist Veekee James has clapped back at a social media user who mocked her for not participating in the creation of outfits for actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo’s traditional wedding.
The lavish ceremony, which held on Thursday, saw Priscilla change into three different outfits and has remained a hot topic online with fans commenting on every detail of the glamorous event.
Amid the buzz, an X user identified as Mpomponwa called Veekee out, suggesting that the wedding should serve as a wake-up call for the stylist.
She pointed out that despite the high profile of the event, Veekee was completely uninvolved.
“I think this wedding should be a wake up call to Veeke James. How can a whole most talked about wedding come and go, not a single dress from Veeke James, not even the bridesmaid. Lately, she’s been focusing on too many things asides her fashion business we know her for,” the user wrote.
Reacting to the comment, Veekee responded with sarcasm in an Instagram post, writing: “Dear VJ Army join me as I apologize to miss Mpomponwa for my wrongdoing and focus on other things instead of the fashion business she knows me for. Please help me beg one bridesmaid to pity me, make I fit see one clothe sew before the wedding.”
