Social media critic Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has stirred controversy online after sharing a video of himself with singer Naira Marley and his signee Zinoleesky at a club.
The video shared on Instagram on Tuesday has sparked widespread reactions.
In the video, VeryDarkMan is seen engaging in a lighthearted conversation with the duo.
He also urged them to pose for the camera, a request they complied with.
He captioned the video, “I jam the innocent rough men, I ask them to talk, them say na God hand e dey🤷 @nairamarley @zinoleesky 👍.”
The post has drawn mixed reactions on social media, with many questioning VeryDarkMan’s integrity and commitment to his public stance.
Caleb Peter commented, “Since VDM open that fundraising foundation for less privilege, it’s from one club to another, from one tour to another, from one party to another.”
Ganeeyat Bankole added, “Like every other influencer, VDM is a businessman. It’s delusional to think he stands for truth or anything relating to it. He only comes after those he can’t gain anything from.”
Another user remarked, “Activist raise funds last month, start dey go big clubs this December. RIP to public funds 🤣🤣😂.”
Recall that Naira Marley and Zinoleesky have faced backlash following the tragic death of former Marlian signee Mohbad.
Speculations have circulated about Marley’s possible involvement due to their fallout, which led to Mohbad’s exit from the record label
