Veteran actor Olofa Ina has been buried at his residence in the Wakajaye area of Edeland in Osun State.
Olofa Ina died on Thursday evening after a protracted illness.
He was 73 years old.
The burial ceremony on Friday was attended by several dignitaries, including politicians, traditional leaders, Islamic clerics, and film practitioners.
Among those present at the burial were representatives of the Timi of Ede land, Oba Munurudeen Lawal, and the President of the Theater and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Mr. Bolaji Amusan, known as Mr. Latin.
In his tribute, Amusan, represented by TAMPAN’s Director of Finance, Mr. Ayo Oladapo, expressed how greatly the deceased would be missed by TAMPAN members, supporters, and family alike. He highlighted the significant role the late Aderemi played in the entertainment industry and how he served as a role model for many emerging artists.
Amusan urged TAMPAN members and acquaintances of the departed to live exemplary lives reflecting godliness, stressing that the late Aderemi was an essential figure in the establishment of TAMPAN and that he was a good person during his lifetime.
