Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has responded to comments made by Pulse Sports podcaster Tea, who criticised him on The Heat podcast, saying he lacked talent.
In a viral video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, Tea said, “I am sorry, he doesn’t have talent… maybe that’s why he is always posting memes.”
Her remark comes after Boniface’s failed January transfer to Al Nassr and his ongoing recovery from a hamstring injury that sidelined him since last year.
Reacting in the early hours of Thursday, Boniface took to X (formerly Twitter), posting a screenshot of her comments alongside a video mocking her hairline.
The clip featured a court scene where a woman says, “She lied, I should have known when I saw her hairline,” followed by an image of a woman with a receding hairline.
Despite the online drama, Boniface marked his return for Bayer Leverkusen in style, scoring his first goal of the year in a Bundesliga match.
The goal, which came in his 50th appearance for the club since his arrival in 2023, adds to his impressive tally of 30 goals and 10 assists for the unbeaten league leaders.
