Victor Boniface denies rumoured breakup with Norwegian girlfriend

Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has dismissed reports suggesting he ended his four-year relationship with Norwegian partner Rikke Hermine.

The rumours alleged that Ms Hermine demanded a legal marriage without a prenuptial agreement, a contract designed to protect the financial assets of both parties in the event of divorce or death. According to a social media post by African Hub, Boniface allegedly prioritized “safeguarding his financial future and avoiding potential pitfalls.”

In a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), the 24-year-old Bayer Leverkusen star described the claims as baseless.

“Stop posting fake shit you guys know nothing about ……Una go just carry phone without knowing Wetin Dey sup just post,” Boniface wrote, partly in Pidgin English.

He added, “No be everybody be like una sister. So respect urself. Everything you guys say about her are all lies.”

Boniface’s reaction comes amidst a separate high-profile report about Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola’s alleged divorce, where his wife, Cristina Serra, is reportedly set to keep their £8.5 million mansion in Barcelona and a share of his £100 million fortune.

The Super Eagles striker has been making headlines recently, not only for his performances on the pitch but also for his personal life, which he insists should be respected.
