Victor Moses has revealed that he is prepared to do all it takes to earn a recall to the Super Eagles.
Fit-again Moses is yet to feature under new coach, Sunday Oliseh, after pulling out of the friendly games against Cameroon and DR Congo last October.
In his absence, the likes of Ahmed Musa, Simon Moses and Sylvester Igboun have all formed an integral part of Oliseh’s new setup.
But the West Ham winger who has now recovered from a hamstring injury, says he is ready to fight to win his place back.
“There is a new manager and the team has been doing well but without me,” Moses told BBC Sport.
“I’m prepared to give it my all and fight for a place on a regular basis, that’s my aim.
“This is football, a competitive stage and I have to fight hard to get in but I don’t mind doing that.”
Fans in the local media had accused the former England youth international of putting club before country but Moses insists he is “committed” to Nigeria.
“I’m proud of being a Nigerian international and am always committed to playing for my country.
“It’s the best feeling representing your country and I always want to perform and give 100% for the team.
“Unfortunately, I have not been able to play due to injuries but I have an unwavering commitment to Nigeria.”
Moses was part of the victorious Nigeria team to the 2013 African Cup of Nations and featured last against France in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
