Actress Victoria Inyama has declared her support for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi hours after clashing with his supporters.
The actress on Wednesday said she agrees with media personality Daddy Freeze that “70% of Peter Obi’s supporters are zombidients and obidiots”.
Her statement generated backlash from Obi’s supporters who dragged the Orange Girl star on social media.
Clearing the air in an Instagram live session with Daddy Freeze on Thursday, the mother of three said she has nothing against Obi’s supporters, adding that although 70% of his supporters are ‘confused’, the rest are ‘smart and intelligent.’
When asked who her preferred presidential candidate is, the actress declared her support for Obi.
“I am his supporter, I always support Peter Obi so I don’t bloody know why they’re attacking me. For me in particular, he is educated, he is calm, he has the qualities of a leader. I have listened to him debate, he is so calm, he has never raised his voice. If we are given an opportunity to vote of course I’ll vote Peter Obi, he is an intellectual,” she said.
